With the breakthrough of large language models like ChatGPT, alarm bells have been raised in academia regarding the potential for their use in academic fraud and plagiarism. However, certain forward-thinking individuals with a holistic AI understanding have begun using it in classrooms for instructional purposes.

One such individual is professor Dr. Rev. Mabriel Pizazz, an adjunct faculty-researcher associate fellow in the Tepper School of Business and part-time advisor for the Gibbon Center for Entrepreneurial Development and Cryptoresilience Studies, who has begun incorporating a breakthrough interactive language model in his class, 70-239, “Schmoozing to the top: How to get around in finance.”

“We want to train students to be ready for the complicated social dynamics of the business world. … In fields like finance, networking opportunities often present themselves at informal private events such as the secretive coke-fueled masquerades that take place in your boss’s boss’s penthouse on Central Park South,” said professor Dr. Rev. Pizazz.

The students have described very positive interactions with the model. Jibby Muffet, a first-year business major, told The Natrat, “I’d never even had cocaine before this class, but now I feel extremely prepared to negotiate a merger of my media empire with that of a mysterious man in an owl mask after sniffing blow off a prostitute’s be-hind,” he said, with emphasis on the “be.”

The language model has been trained to replicate the speech patterns of different “characters,” each of whom represents a different networking opportunity. These include “Kyle,” a 27-year-old graduate from the Binghamton University School of Management, “Toby,” a banking executive from Copiague, Long Island, and “Rita,” a venture capitalist with ownership of several Cayman Islands bank accounts.

Dr. Rev. Pizazz says the results of this tool are “promising” and that it will give students extremely valuable experience for the world of business.
