A thief stole a student’s Valentine’s Day bundt cake in Morewood Gardens.

Theft of goods or services

A Carnegie Mellon student reported the theft of a delivered Bundt cake for  Valentine’s Day. The theft was from Morewood Gardens. CMUPD is to investigate.

A Carnegie Mellon student reported the theft of his food order from Cohon Center valued at 10 dollars. CMUPD is to investigate.

Alcohol amnesty

CMUPD responded to Morewood Gardens for an intoxicated student. A medical evaluation was given. No citations were issued due to alcohol amnesty.

Request for assistance

CMUPD responded to assist a Carnegie Mellon student to unlock a vehicle. The vehicle was successfully opened without incident. No other police action was taken.

CMUPD responded to Duquesne University for an intoxicated Carnegie Mellon student. The student was transported back to the Carnegie Mellon campus without incident. Student Affairs is to handle the matter.

Access device fraud 

A Carnegie Mellon student reported possible fraudulent activity to their bank account. The account is linked to their Carnegie Mellon Andrew card. CMUPD is to investigate.

Criminal Mischief

A Carnegie Mellon staff member reported damage to their  cabinet in Baker Hall. Damage was done to the lock. CMUPD is to investigate.
